Understanding both the technical side, as regulatory requirements, he has extensive knowledge on how crypto-assets and stablecoins are used in sanctions evasion, as well as how blockchain monitoring uniquely contributes to the forensic analysis and seizures of law enforcement. Per 2026, Mauro is the chairman of the industry association for regulated crypto-asset service providers in the Netherlands, serving as the primary spokesperson on behalf of the sector towards regulators, legislators and law enforcement.
