Ilayda Ozdemir Ozturk is Legal Counsel at Turkish Airlines, where she advises on international commercial transactions, sanctions, export controls, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on the aviation sector.

She is admitted to practice in Türkiye, England & Wales, and Ireland, and has passed the California Bar Examination, with admission pending. Ilayda holds degrees in Law, Economics, and Psychology, as well as an LL.M. She is an ACSS Certified Sanctions Specialist (CSS) and regularly advises on complex cross-border sanctions and export control matters.

In addition to her legal practice, Ilayda is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), researching the impact of sanctions and export controls on airlines. Her research and professional interests focus on international sanctions, export controls, compliance, and aviation law.
