Clare Twomey is a Policy Officer in the European Commission’s Sanctions Unit, located in DG FISMA. A key priority for Clare is the trade aspect of sanctions and anti-circumvention work more broadly.
Clare previously worked across customs policy and anti-fraud affairs for the European Commission, before joining DG FISMA in 2026. Clare studied Law and German, graduating from Trinity College Dublin.
